This Multinational Battlegroup consists of soldiers from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, and North Macedonia, and the troops are headquartered at Novo Selo.

Battlegroups are highly capable, flexible and interoperable formations that can respond immediately to a range of threats. Multi-national BGs are an expression of the Alliance’s commitment to the principle that an attack against one Ally is an attack against all. The Alliance is postured to deter any threat and defend Allies in all domains, across the entire Euro-Atlantic area.
