Headquarters Multinational Corps South-East (HQ MNC-SE) hosted the second edition of the Strategic Communication (StratCom) Conference in Sibiu from 2 to 4 June, with the participation of approximately 50 subject-matter experts from academia, NATO commands, and national entities.
The event provided a framework for collaboration among StratCom experts from various national and affiliated organizational levels.
Furthermore, the conference’s workshops served as an appropriate platform for conversations, facilitating the sharing of best practices and experiences in disciplines such as public affairs, information operations, and psychological operations that are part of the overall strategic communications effort.
For the first time in this conference, a Combat Camera workshop was held both at the HQ MNC-SE premises and in the Joint National Training Center in Cincu. Visual content experts from different military media and communication structures from NATO came together for the workshop.
Participants represented “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, the “Carol I” National Defence University in Bucharest, the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC), the Romanian and Bulgarian Ministries of Defense, as well as allied commands within NATO’s force structure.
