The new Deputy Commander (DCOM) of Multinational Corps South-East (MNC-SE), Major General Ufuk Hilmi Orhan, was introduced to the staff during a welcome ceremony in the presence of the HQ MNC-SE command team.
In his speech, the new DCOM thanked the commander for the opportunity and stated: “Our mission here is clear and enduring: to deter, to defend, and to assure our populations that NATO remains steadfast and united. (…) I will bring to this role my commitment, my experience, and my dedication to our shared mission.”
During the ceremony, the MNC-SE Commander, Lieutenant General Cristian Dan, conveyed a warm welcome to the new Deputy Commander and expressed confidence in his success as he assumed his new duties.
