Chief of the Spanish Army Staff, general Amador Enseñat y Berea, accompanied by Chief of the Romanian Land Forces Staff, lieutenant general Ciprian Marin, paid a visit to Headquarters Multinational Corps South-East (HQ MNC-SE) premises in Sibiu, on Wednesday, 3 September.
The delegation was welcomed by the MNC-SE commander, lieutenant general Cristian Dan, who briefed the officials on relevant aspects related to the mission and role of the Corps within NATO’s deterrence and defence framework. The discussions also focused on enhancing interoperability, allowing Allied forces to train, operate, and communicate effectively together, while strengthening cohesion and reinforcing NATO’s forward presence and readiness along the Eastern Flank.
