The Romanian Deputy Prime Minster, Minister of National Defence, Liviu-Ionuț Moșteanu met with Lieutenant General Cristian Dan, Commander of Multinational Corps South-East, during multinational training at the Joint National Training Centre in Cincu. The engagement, also attended by senior representatives of the NATO Multinational Battle Group deployed in Romania (with France as framework-nation), highlighted the contribution of allied troops deployed in Romania and the Corps’ role in strengthening NATO’s posture on the South-Eastern Flank.
Also, the Minister, accompanied by General Gheorghiță Vlad, Romanian Chief of Defence, alongside other senior military leaders, visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps South-East in Sibiu. Welcomed by the Corps leadership, the delegation discussed progress, operational readiness, and future development, reaffirming NATO’s collective commitment to deterrence and defence.
